THANK YOU! Haircuts For Hockey Numbers Are In

Yesterday was the 2nd Annual JJ ZIEGLER Haircuts for Hockey + Yard Sale and Bake Sale Fund Raiser. We had nearly $1,000 in bake sale pre-orders and cash donations just going into Saturday. So we knew it was going to be a good day but we never expected this. Total amount raised.....drum roll please........

$2,268!!

But wait.. there's MORE.

We received an anonymous donation of $2,500 matching what we raised! No kidding!

TOTAL: $4,768

...... and still counting!

So many people to thank! Here we go. Thank you to:

• Ruby and Poppa for giving us the venue for this event.


• The Britains for the donated air hockey table! And KSL.com for getting it sold for us!


• Mike and Alli for driving Poppa's truck to the Avenues with JJ to pick up the donated air hockey table.


• Ruby for baking hundreds of cookies and cinnamon rolls.


• Poppa for letting us take over the kitchen and his wife for three weeks of baking and for securing over $200 in donations all on his own.


• Mike and Alli for showing up at 7:00am Saturday morning to frost cookies and cinnamon rolls, hauling yard sale items into the yard, assembling the air hockey table, - and they were so freakin happy to do it all!


• All the guys at Capital Electric especially Jim for their orders and generous cash donations. We'll let you know how the guitar sell goes on eBay.


• To the guys at Taylor Electric too. You gotta love Gary!


• Ty - for selling punch and cookies, folding boxes and your many yard sale purchases. But most of all, thanks for just being there. We love you!


• Brigitte - for flying in from Phoenix and surprising us. Nice hair cut by the way!


• Rita - for setting up Ty with his punch selling stand and years and years of love and support.


• Trevor and the Cubans - great smiles, big muscles.


• Stephanie and sleepy baby Quinn. So great to see you both!


• Lindsay, Al and sMiles - Thanks for brightening our day by being there. Enjoy those books.


• Billy - for saving his first haircut EVER for us!!


• Ethan - for being so sweet and enduring a very grueling haircut. Great mohawk though!


• Casie and her amazing scissors and even more amazing heart. She is the kindest, most patient woman on the planet.


• All of JJ's Aunts and Cousins. Everyone showed up to support JJ. Not only was it great for business, it was just plain great to see everyone.


• Denise and her amazing selling expertise and her ability to do math (I was fried and couldn't count)
